fashion! fashion! fashion!
my best friend visits the threadless
site weekly to check out new t-shirts,
all limited-edition and all cheap.
the site is pretty, clever, easy-to-use,
and so internet-age participatory
that it makes my teeth hurt...

Who is that guy? Seriously, who is he? Can I have him?
yes, if you're willing
to contact an internet store
and track down one
of their t-shirt models
in the hopes of getting a date,
a plan of action this lonely girl
seriously considered. "at least
it would make a good story...
and otherwise, what a meet-cute!"
but, because of a recent bad experience
with asking out the local butcher
(lets just say he turned out to be twins,
and that my best friend can no longer
buy the tender beefsteak she had grown
accustomed to, and leave it at that.)
i now forfeit my dibs on that scenario,
and on that beautiful boy.
just remember that answering
the question "what have i got to lose?"
is always trickier than it first
may seem… and good luck!
To get the open-close arrows you have to update your template-- just click on the template tab and chose "update". You may lose the color scheme, but it says it saves a copy of your old template for reference. there are lots of other things you can do once you update (like, my favorite, add a list of labels on the sidebar).
I was once a T-shirt model. I moved on to polo shirts. Then to sweats. Then to hooded sweats. Next came a job modeling full-length raincoats. L.L. Bean saw that work and picked me up for their Fall 2005 spread of camo and safety-orange hunters' ponchos. I was most recently employed by the Department of Defense on a photo shoot demonstrating the newly issued sandstorm survival sack made of buff colored mylar.
I miss the T-shirt days.
